Chancellor Gold gives his inaugural address to faculty

Nearly 90 days on the job, UNMC’s new chancellor, Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., presented his first state of the campus address at the annual Faculty Senate Awards Ceremony on April 24. “I have received an incredibly warm welcome from the campus and I’m very impressed with the depth and breadth of the relationships UNMC has with the community,” he said.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine has been recognized by the American Academy of Family Physicians as one of the top 10 programs in the country in producing family physicians. The award was presented at a conference of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine in San Antonio.
