Fremont organization supports Alzheimer’s research

Fremont Area Alzheimer’s Collaboration has donated more than $100,000 to UNMC over the past five years.

Marv Welstead, 96, has raised more than $100,000 over the past five years for Alzheimer's research at UNMC. His wife, Jean, died of Alzheimer's in 2009. Here Welstead is seen as he demonstrates the driving simulator in 2016 in the Mind and Brain Health Labs at UNMC.
