Correction to May Issue
In the May Internal Medicine Newsletter in the “Education Update” it was incorrectly stated that Christopher Smith, MD, Division of General Internal Medicine, had spent time over the past year mentoring residents, specifically in writing case reports and submissions for national meetings. Michael Smith, MD, in the Division of General Internal Medicine was the person who mentored the residents. The efforts of Dr. Michael Smith and the residents paid off with 10 cases being accepted at the National Society of General Internal Medicine conference and four poster presentations at a Society of Hospital Medicine national meeting.
