Reflections on Dr. Camras and a well-lived life
On Friday afternoon, I took a walk over to the Sorrell Center for a memorial service for Carl Camras, M.D., professor and chairman of the department of ophthalmology and visual sciences who died April 14 at age 55. I have to admit, when I arrived at the ceremony, my thoughts turned to all the work that waited for me back at the office. But I decided to stay at the ceremony. Good decision.
