The League of Women Voters will be on the UNMC campus today to offer Nebraska residents the opportunity to register to vote, request an absentee/early voter ballot and/or receive a voter guide with information on the candidates and their stances on ballot initiatives.

Mini-medical school to focus on women and cancer
UNMC, in partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, will present a Mini-Medical School on women and cancer. The series, which will be held Oct. 14, 21 and 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (CDT), will be broadcast live via satellite from the UNMC campus in Omaha, to 30 communities.
