UNMC student enrollment sets record high
For the fourth straight year, student enrollment at UNMC reached an all-time high with 3,189 students enrolled for the 2008-09 school year — an increase of 2 percent over last year’s previous record total of 3,128.

Regents approve $17.5 million nursing facility in Lincoln
The University of Nebraska Board of Regents on Friday approved the construction of an estimated $17.5 million new facility to house the UNMC College of Nursing Lincoln Division. The University of Nebraska has identified the project as its top capital funding priority for 2009.
