Nursing faculty assist with Jordanian partnership
Four UNMC College of Nursing faculty members recently traveled to Amman, Jordan, to conduct faculty development workshops at Al-Zaytoonah Private University. The 10-day visit fulfilled part of a three-year partnership agreement established in 2004 to advance nursing education in Jordan and the Arab region.

Influenza vaccination information
The Nebraska Medical Center is making preparations for the upcoming influenza season. As always, vaccination for all persons, unless vaccination is contraindicated (children less than 6 months of age, persons with allergies to eggs) is encouraged. Dates for on-campus staff vaccination clinics are outlined in the story.

Dr. Mueller joins USDA agricultural tour
Every year members of the United States Department of Agriculture make a point to visit several states receiving funding from the USDA. Last month, Keith Mueller, Ph.D., director of the Rural Policy Research Institute at UNMC, was the only person from Nebraska invited to tag along on the USDA agricultural tour.
