UNMC nursing graduates, students honored
On Nov. 19, the March of Dimes hosted the 2005 March of Dimes Excellence in Nursing Awards ceremony. Of the 168 award nominations submitted, at least 21 were graduates of, or students at, the UNMC College of Nursing.

Candidates sought to lead NU’s diversity initiatives
University of Nebraska President James B. Milliken has named a 10-member committee to seek candidates for a position in the Office of the President that will provide leadership for university-wide diversity initiatives. The group will be chaired by Rubens Pamies, M.D., vice chancellor for academic affairs and graduate studies and professor of internal medicine at UNMC.
