The McGoogan Library of Medicine is promoting four new resources that will benefit UNMC faculty, staff and students. The resources — ScienceDirect Backfiles, Exam Master, FIRSTConsult and images.MD – respectively provide online access to past journal articles, online tests capabilities, clinical diagnosis information and downloadable medical images.

UNMC partners with historically black colleges, universities
RICHMOND, VA. – Five Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and a leading Virginia community college are partnering with the University of Nebraska and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) to create a special program to provide a multitude of academic and research opportunities for minority undergraduate students and faculty. UNMC blood drive scheduled for Sept. 23
About every two seconds, someone in the United States needs a blood transfusion. On Thursday, Sept. 23, employees at UNMC and its hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, will have the opportunity to give blood so that others may have the opportunity to live.
