A message from the dean

Dr. Samuel Bierner will be the founding chair of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. John Tinker, M.D., professor and chair of the University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology from 1997-2008, died Feb. 17 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
