Program aims to streamline prior authorizations

Stephen Salzbrenner, M.D., created Breezmed, a program which solves many of the problems patients deal with when it comes to prior authorizations.

Stephen Salzbrenner, M.D., discusses his new Breezmed program with the UNMC Department of Psychiatry Leadership Team. Dr. Salzbrenner recently received a $75,000 prototype grant to create the software, which is designed to help patients, providers and pharmacies deal with prior authorization forms.
