The procedure is used to alleviate the symptoms of diseases such as Parkinson’s, essential tremor, dystonia and other neurological conditions.

The 3D device is used to simulate the wear of the stereotactic head frame, which stabilizes the patient's head during certain surgeries that require that the patient be awake.
