Clinic Overview

The Olson Center for Women’s Health Clinic is one of Nebraska Medicine’s largest ambulatory operations, located on the 4th floor of the Durham Outpatient Center at UNMC, with additional locations at Village Pointe Health Center and Bellevue Medical Center. This site highlights the academic and educational role of the Olson Center, which delivers comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health services in a single, convenient location.

Nebraska Medicine Durham Outpatient Center

The clinic opened in October 2007 at the Durham Outpatient Center as part of Nebraska Medicine’s commitment to women’s health.

Designed as a nationally unique model combining general and specialty OB-GYN, prenatal diagnosis, maternal diabetes management, physical therapy, and women’s breast imaging under one roof.

Obstetrics & Gynecology: routine and advanced gynecology treatment, well-woman care, infertility treatments, contraceptive management, menopausal care, and full scope obstetrics / maternity care

Midwifery: low-risk obstetrics care by licensed, board-certified midwives

High-Risk Obstetrics: care and management for high-risk obstetric patients by Maternal-Fetal Medicine experts, including prenatal diagnosis and surveillance

Collaborative Clinics: multidisciplinary specialty teams support patients with complex and high-risk pregnancies. The clinics currently available include:

Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Disorders: diagnosis and treatment for female urinary incontinence and prolapse

Women’s Imaging Unit: on-site 3D mammography, bone density screening, and breast ultrasound

Support Services:

Lactation consultation

Nutrition counseling and WIC enrollment

Social work for crisis intervention and resource counseling

Financial Counseling

Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic: urgent appointments for early pregnancy complications and miscarriage management
