Community Visits
Community visits are a key way the Chancellor's Board of Counselors helps UNMC stay connected to Nebraska's communities.
When planning a visit, these are common partners and audiences we aim to engage, often based on local priorities and the board member's relationships:
- Community and service organizations (e.g., Rotary, Kiwanis)
- Chambers of Commerce and economic development leaders
- Hospitals and health systems
- Higher education partners (University of Nebraska campuses, state colleges, community colleges)
- K–12 schools and youth-serving organizations
- Elected officials and legislative stakeholders
