The Second Annual Spirit Week Student Broomball Tournament gets underway at 2 p.m. today. |
The Second Annual Student Broomall Tournament gets underway today at 2 p.m. at the Scott Student Plaza Ice Rink.
Eight student teams will battle for the Golden Broom in a single elimination tournament.
The tournament schedule is:
- 2 p.m. — Nano Brooms vs. Pharmers
- 2:30 p.m. — Nano Ninjas vs. Kappa Psi’s Parophagiacs
- 3 p.m. — Honey Badgers vs. Thumpin and Pumpin
- 3:30 p.m. — Ice Club Omaha vs. Osteoclasts
- 4 p.m. — Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner
- 4:30 p.m. — Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner
- 5 p.m. — Championship game

The deadline to register your team for Friday’s Spirit Week Scavenger Hunt is 5 p.m. today.
Email unmcevents@unmc.edu to register your team and then head over to the Sorrell Center at 11:15 a.m. on Friday to get your check list and join the hunt!
