The EVS worker who generates the most comments — or “votes” — gets a $50 gift card to Hy-Vee.
You can vote:
- For more than one EVS worker; but
- Only once for each EVS worker.
Both UNMC and Nebraska Medicine EVS workers are eligible.

Early in the morning I am greeted by Gilbert in the lobby who is hard at work but greets me with a smile and a few kind words. Our floor is maintained by Kossi and he takes pride in keeping our environment top notch – it would pass the white glove inspection. He is eager to please and always has a big smile. Throughout the day, I encounter several hard working EVS. They are all winners and very much appreciated!!! "Thank you" to all whom make this campus shine and give extraordinary attention to detail 24/7.
I vote for Lisa Lantz. Lisa does a wonderful job keeping our lab tidy and functional and is also a joy to have around!
I vote for Maria Morguina (ARS building). Maria is new to our building, and in the very short time she has been with us she has done an outstanding job! Our building has never looked better. She is very friendly, takes pride in her work, and goes that "extra mile". Thanks Maria!!!
Mary Walls helps take care of the emergency medicine offices. She is always pleasant and is a joy to have around. She works very hard at what she does and her efforts do not go unnoticed.
Maria Morguina has been a great addition to the ARS team, we are very happy to have her on board!

My vote goes to Kouka Ouedraogo. He's the hardest working man with a positive happy personality. He keeps our DRC 2 and DRC 1 areas spotless. He always does a great job and he is very dependable. Go Kouka.

Kouka Ouedraogo does an amazing job cleaning DRC 1 and 2. He is always friendly and has a great personality.
Maria Marguina in the ARS building. She is a doing a great job is always so pleasant.
My vote has to go to Kouka Ouedraogo. Without a doubt in my 25 years working here, Kouka is head and shoulders above everyone else we've ever had. He keeps our areas spotless and always has a smile ready for you.

Lisa Lantz!!! She does an amazing job in Eppley Science Hall! She is always very friendly and makes the day brighter. Such a hard worker too, always going above and beyond. Not only does she make sure we have what we need but other floors that she's not responsible for too. Thank you LIsa for all that you do!

I would like to vote for Shiloah who works in the BTH building, she has cleaned our physical therapy offices and lab for several months, and does a fantastic job! She is always cheerful and pays great attention to detail. She is always willing to assist with any request, and it really shows that she is enthusiastic about her work! Bravo, Shiloah
Terri Gustafson Eppley Cancer Institute always a cheerful morning greeter and make my office smell great! She does an excellent job.
Cathy Christiansen in Wittson Hall is the best. She takes care of all of us in the library. Everything is spotless and she is always asking what more she can do.
Terri on Wittson third floor is always helpful in getting the supplies we need!

We love our EVS people — Zonia Nazaruk and Craig Lainson. Zonia has to be the friendliest person in the world. Craig and I love to talk about golf. After the U.S. Senior Open was held in Omaha last year, Craig gave me a golf towel from the event — what a guy!

Tami Howell hands down! She is knows when something needs done and does it without a second thought. Not only is she a huge asset to the campus she is a fabulous person. Kind, considerate, compassionate and friendly.
Tami Howell is the most caring and hardest working person I know! I love seeing her bright smile and positive outlook! She is always willing to do whatever we need. She is truly the best and we are so lucky to have her here! Tami you are the greatest!!!!
