How I fell in love with pediatric infectious diseases: I have always been fascinated with how bugs, pathogens and hosts interact since I was a child, in part because of my early Kawasaki disease led my dad down a large rabbit hole in trying to find the cause of it.

Three things people may not know about me:

  • I am an amateur drone enthusiast trying to figure out where I can fly around here.
  • I am a photographer with particular interest in long exposure/infrared photography.
  • I was a cellist and used to do gig work for events (graduation and weddings, mostly) and played in orchestras and chamber music groups.
