The first shipment of officially branded UNMC Labs T-shirts is expected to arrive in the UNMC Bookstore by Monday, May 8, according to Amber Dib, assistant manager.
But if the UNMC community’s response to the mascot design is any indication, that initial inventory could fall short of demand. Not to worry, says Dib.
An online ordering system is in place for UNMC’s first Labs logo shirt featuring Ellie, the mascot unveiled last week in a Student Senate-led initiative centered on UNMC pride.
Pre-ordering a T-shirt now online will reserve a shirt (while quantities last) from this initial shipment.
Lab fans can stop by the bookstore Monday, but shirts will be on the shelves only if there are any left after the online pre-orders. Once the initial supply runs out, anyone who has pre-ordered but not yet received a mascot T-shirt will have orders filled with the next shipment.
The shirts retail for $16.99, plus tax, and shipping, if applicable. If you select the in-store pickup option, you’ll be notified by email when your shirt is available.
