BioRender Premium now is available through the UNMC Research IT Office (RITO) at reduced enterprise pricing of $122 per user annually. Previously, researchers needed to purchase their own license to use the software.
BioRender is a web-based tool that helps researchers create, edit and collaborate on scientific diagrams and illustrations, offering a large library of more than 40,000 icons to use in the creation of scientific posters, presentations or publications.
An introductory webinar for UNMC’s research community will be held today (Aug. 2) at noon to provide more information about the program. Other resources will be made available on RITO’s website.
UNMC researchers can request access to BioRender through their department administrators for bulk licenses by emailing RITO. Individuals can also gain access by completing a request form.
BioRender is offering a prorated refund for UNMC researchers who already have purchased an individual license on their own. For any questions, reach out to RITO.
