Olson Center event will discuss intuitive eating

Nebraska Medicine dietitian Laura Hernandez will explain the differences between mindful eating and intuitive eating, bringing in the tool of the hunger scale to recognize hunger and fullness cues. The 10 principles of intuitive eating, how it relates to a healthy lifestyle and the relationship with food will be discussed.

The virtual event is on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from noon to 1 p.m. Register through Engage, email the Olson Women’s Health Resource Center or call 402-559-6345.

This is a free event and open to the community. Nursing credit is available for $15. The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.
