Members of the pancreatic cancer care team and leaders of the med center were recognized during halftime of the Huskers’ win over Wisconsin on Saturday, as part of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month in November.
Huskers Athletics partnered with the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, UNMC and Nebraska Medicine for the recognition. Greg Sharpe, the Voice of the Huskers since 2008, has undergone treatment at the med center since last spring.
