UNMC employees have until tonight to offer their perspectives in the 2025 Employee Engagement Survey.
The Employee Engagement Survey was extended through today (Friday, May 2) to give UNMC employees extra time to participate. The survey has gone out to 5,000 faculty and regular staff, including house officers, and as of Thursday, 50% of employees had responded.
“The engagement survey is more than a checkbox — it’s a chance to shape the workplace with real experiences, not assumptions,” said Linda Cunningham, interim executive director of UNMC Human Resources. “Every response helps leadership make informed decisions that strengthen our work environment and address what truly matters. If you haven’t participated yet, take a moment before the survey closes tomorrow. Your voice has the power to drive real change, and to those who have already contributed — thank you for making a difference.”
2025 Employee Engagement Survey
Please note the following criteria must be met in order to receive an invitation to participate:
- Your start date must be on or before Jan. 15, 2025.
- You must be a regular employee. (Temporary employees, faculty volunteers and non-faculty volunteers are not eligible at this time.)
- Your FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) must be 0.5 or higher.
If you met those criteria, quickly locate the survey email by typing Quantum workplace in the email search bar. If you use a Focused Inbox, you can look in the Other or Clutter tab.
UNMC Human Resources has engaged with Engage2Excel to administer the 2025 survey, with assistance from Quantum Workplace. The survey is delivered via an email to employees’ UNMC inbox through a confidential survey link from Quantum Workplace and the email domain quantumworkplace.com.
Quantum Workplace will send one more email invitation to employees today. The survey takes only about five minutes to complete.
Administrators are aiming to achieve a high response to the survey in line with previous participation by UNMC employees. That employee feedback is crucial in helping create a better workplace for everyone at UNMC.
UNMC is offering an incentive to participate – the unit with the highest response rate will receive a trophy, bragging rights and an ice cream social as a thank you.
The survey is confidential. Through its collaboration with the external survey vendor, UNMC will not receive any information that personally identifies any survey participant or their responses.
