The UNMC Department of Internal Medicine has released its annual report for academic year 2024-2025.
The 38-page report highlights the impact of the department and the achievements of its faculty, researchers, fellows, residents and staff.
Mark Rupp, MD, the interim department chair, said the report demonstrates the reach of internal medicine’s 12 divisions and its focus on clinical service, medical education and innovative research.
“Our department has a positive influence on nearly every facet of our complex academic medical center,” he said. “The department demonstrated dedication and resilience as we committed to providing compassionate clinical care, advancing research and educating the next generation of healthcare providers. I am so proud of what we have accomplished.”
