Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, invites the health care, education and research communities to attend UNMC’S inaugural AI in Health Conference 2026: Shaping the Future of Care.

The April 21 event will be on UNMC’s Omaha campus in the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education, Truhlsen Events Center.

The AI in Health Conference will bring together faculty, students and staff from all University of Nebraska campuses, Nebraska Medicine and Children’s Nebraska to explore ways AI can transform education, power new research and improve clinical outcomes.

The free conference also will build readiness to engage in AI technologies and highlight innovation and expertise in AI applications through poster presentations, plus a keynote speaker.

Organizers invite proposals for both digital and print poster presentations in the areas of education, research and clinical care. Submissions are due by Feb. 27. See the conference website for submission requirements and conference details. Interested in attending? Register online by April 14.
