Water, Climate and Health Program to hold research poster session

The UNMC community is invited to join the UNMC College of Public Health’s Water, Climate and Health Program in celebrating five years of program achievements and moving public health forward.

The program will host its annual poster session on Wednesday, May 6, from 9:30-11 a.m. in the third-floor atrium of the Maurer Center for Public Health building on the UNMC Omaha campus. This session marks the program’s fifth year of celebrating research, education and community partnerships.

All UNMC students, faculty and staff are invited to attend, learn more about the program’s innovative research and hear from community partners. The poster session allows attendees to:

  • Discover innovative research: View posters detailing a year of impactful work.
  • Hear from community partners: Learn how the program’s outreach efforts are making a tangible difference outside the classroom.
  • Network and connect: Engage with experts and peers who are passionate about water, climate and health over a cup of coffee.

The Water, Climate and Health Program is a joint effort between the UNMC College of Public Health, the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute at the University of Nebraska and the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
