Nebraska Medicine and UNMC continue to modernize device management services to improve security, simplify support and provide a better experience across mobile devices and computers.

Several technology updates are currently underway, and some users still may need to take action.

Device migration continues

Colleagues who use personal smartphones or tablets to access Nebraska Medicine or UNMC via such programs as Outlook, Teams and OneDrive are being asked to move from the Intelligent Hub to Microsoft Intune Company Portal.

Thousands of users already have completed the transition, but many devices still need to be migrated. Users who haven’t made the transition should review the migration instructions and complete the process as soon as possible.

The migration typically takes only a few minutes and helps ensure continued access to organizational applications and data. More information can be found in the previous article.

Mac computer and corporate-owned iPhone/iPad users

Users of Mac computers and corporately owned iOS devices (iPads and iPhones) may see a prompt asking them to migrate their device to the new Intune management platform.

This update is part of the ongoing effort by Nebraska Medicine and UNMC to standardize device management and improve the delivery of security updates, applications and support services.

Users who receive the prompt should complete the migration before Monday, July 27. The process is designed to preserve files, settings and applications while moving the device to the new platform. To learn more about this:
