Memorial service set for Dr. Matoole

Jack Matoole, M.D.

Jack Matoole, M.D., an emeritus professor in the UNMC Department of Internal Medicine, will be remembered at a service to celebrate his life and the legacy he leaves behind.

The service is set for 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at The Field Club of Omaha, 3615 Woolworth Ave.

Organizers are requesting friends, colleagues and former students of Dr. Matoole to attend and share stories of their experiences with a man one colleague called “a legendary medical educator.”
