The recent flooding has impacted many of our colleagues, students and communities. To meet immediate needs, UNMC, Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska at Omaha have opened a Flood Relief Donation Management Center.

There also is now a dedicated website for monetary donations and a website to volunteer to help flood victims.

“This new website will allow members of the UNMC community, as well as the wider community, to donate to help flood relief efforts and be secure in the knowledge that the funds will be used to benefit those impacted by the flood,” said Pat O’Neil, assistant dean for finance and administration in the College of Allied Health Professions, who is directing the effort at the request of UNMC and UNO Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D.
