Discount tickets to the Omaha Community Playhouse’s May 28 special performance of “Gypsy” will be available in front of the Nebraska Cafe today.
The $5 tickets will be on sale from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each employee will have the opportunity to purchase four tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Gypsy” is about an aggressive stage mother. Audience members will join Rose, June and Louise on their trip across the United States during the 1920s when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born.
Because of the burlesque theme, the musical is not recommended for children under 10 years of age.
