Spirit Week 2010 – Top o’ the morning from UNMC

Be sure to grab a free cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee this morning as UNMC’s Spirit Week continues.

The free goodies will be in the Sorrell Center Alumni Commons Area and the Durham Research Center II Atrium from 7 to 9 a.m.

Wednesday’s happenings

Spirit Week activities continue Wednesday as:

Employees and students get free hot cocoa and admission to the campus ice rink from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can rent skates for $3.
The Soup Revolution truck will be outside by rink. CASH ONLY.
The UNMC Musical Society will present a holiday concert at noon in the Sorrell Center, Room 2010. Holiday cookies will be provided.

A couple Spirit Week-related items to keep in mind today:

If you find the UNMC secondary icon embedded in a UNMC Today story this week, send an e-mail to spiritweek@unmc.edu.If you’re the first to respond, you’ll receive a free T-shirt. This contest will be held every day this week.
Visit the Center for Healthy Living. Admission is free this week for employees and students.
Submit photos for the UNMC Photo Contest.
Register for Friday’s Spirit Challenge. See rules for the spirit challenge and photo contest.
