In conjunction with the campus strategic initiative to grow clinical research, all clinical fellows, faculty and research coordinators are invited to participate in the Clinical Research Symposium sponsored by the Clinical Research Center.
There is a change in the format for this two week symposium.
- Week 1: Sept. 19-22 — Participant’s will be given a broad overview of the clinical research process, including study design, statistical design and analysis, ethical issues, and the IRB application and consent process. This is required in some fellowship/residency programs; and
- Week 2: Jan. 23-23 — Optional; building on week 1, develop, write, and revise specific clinical project.
There is a $40 registration fee per week for UNMC health professionals, students, faculty and staff.
