Breastfeeding, infant health issues focus of Lincoln Science Cafe

Who: Attendees will hear from Ann Seacrest, executive director of MilkWorks, a non-profit community breastfeeding center in Lincoln.

A registered nurse and a board certified lactation consultant, Seacrest’s interests in public health and women’s health have led her to focus on infant nutrition and the lack of support for breastfeeding mothers in our culture.

When: 6:30 p.m.

Where: red9, 9th and M Streets.

What: Science Cafe is a free educational event sponsored by UNMC and other groups to increase science literacy among young adults.
