The UNMC and Nebraska Medicine communities now have access to an internal Project Health site to find subject matter experts and catch up on the latest developments.
Construction is moving forward on the most ambitious public-private partnership in the history of the University of Nebraska. A $2.2 billion investment, Project Health will transform health care in Nebraska and serve as a state-of-the-art clinical learning center to educate and train future health care providers, conduct cutting-edge research and expand access to clinical trials.
When completed in 2031, Project Health will become the primary in-patient clinical hospital for Nebraska Medicine, with more than 550 beds. One-third of the hospital’s square footage will be dedicated to education, and the project sits adjacent to the EDGE District, which is designed to connect researchers, clinicians and industry partners.
Launching a dedicated internal site now enables colleagues of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine to catch up on the latest developments, submit questions, find subject matter experts, learn more about the Innovation Design Unit and see the latest renderings. This one-stop shop for information will be updated as needed throughout construction.
