The Child Health Research Institute has released its inaugural annual report. The 2025 report provides an introduction to the institute and a detailed overview of CHRI’s achievements, including key data points, highlights from the year and a celebration of the individuals and partnerships driving pediatric research forward.
“We are so excited to share with our community all of the impactful efforts happening through CHRI to improve and save the lives of children,” said Ann Anderson-Berry, MD, PhD, the Child Health Research Institute’s executive director, who also serves as division chief of neonatology and the Dr. John and Patti Sparks Chair of Pediatric Research at UNMC. “This report showcases the dedication and collaboration that fuel our mission and the meaningful strides we’ve made in pediatric health.”
The annual report features in-depth stories that spotlight five important features of CHRI: advocacy, clinical research, inter-institution collaboration, community support and researcher empowerment. In addition, the report includes a list of CHRI’s internal grant awardees, UNMC-based external grant recipients and a rundown of the year’s CHRI-sponsored events.
