UNMC’s summer intramural leagues are returning, and participants of all activity levels are invited to join. Intramural leagues are athletic competitions organized for UNMC and Nebraska Medicine faculty, staff, students and their families (parents, spouses and children). Teams also may have a limited number of non-UNMC or Nebraska Medicine individuals.
Sign up by Friday, May 8, to secure a spot in the golf and pickleball intramural leagues, and by Friday, May 15, to secure a spot in the futsal (indoor soccer) and sand volleyball leagues.
Golf (four vs. four)
- Held Thursdays at Elmwood Park Golf Course with tee times starting at 5 p.m.; teams play nine holes
- Cost per team: $75 registration fee and $88 green fee/per week/per team
- Season: First night of play is May 21; length of season depends on the number of teams that register

Pickleball (two vs. two)
- Held Tuesdays 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the UNMC Center for Healthy Living activity courts; teams play best two out of three games
- Cost per team: $40 registration fee
- Teams: doubles recreation
- Season: 11 weeks (May 19-July 28)

Futsal (seven vs. seven)
- Held Wednesdays 6 to 9 p.m. at the UNMC Center for Healthy Living activity courts; teams play 45-minute matches
- Cost per team: $120 registration fee
- Teams: Coed recreation
- Season: Eight weeks (June 3-July 22)
- Sign up for the futsal league
Sand volleyball (six vs. six)
- Held Mondays 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Aksarben Village Sand Volleyball Courts; teams play two 30-minute matches
- Cost per team: $120 registration fee
- Teams: Coed recreation
- Season: Nine weeks (June 1-July 27)
