Those of you who speak languages other than English can help at a pair of upcoming sessions to train medical students to use interpreters.
If you have a friend or relative who speaks the same language, we need both of you (one of you must be fluent in English).
This exercises run from noon to 4:30 p.m. in the Sorrell Center on:
- Monday, Oct. 22; and
- Monday, Oct. 29.
A script will be provided and you or your partner would act as an interpreter for the medical students as they interview those who pretend to be the patients. A small stipend will be provided.
