  • Hometown: Omaha
  • Program/Year: Third-year medical student

List three songs on your playlist.

  • “Gangnum Style” by PSY;
  • “Starships” by Nicki Minaj; and
  • I swear I’m not 15, but anything Justin Bieber and One Direction.

Name your favorite study spot.

In the summer you will find me at the pool. Once fall rolls around, you will find me at the coffee shop.

Your favorite study snack is …

Sweet and Sour Twizzlers or a Starbucks skinny caramel macchiato and a cake pop.

Your favorite app is …

If it’s for school — definitely Epocrates and some Pandora to listen to. Otherwise, I’m a sports fan so it would be ESPN Sportscenter.

Three things people may not know about you.

  • I know sign language as my brother was born hearing impaired.
  • I coach two volleyball teams — fifth graders at St. Roberts and JV/Varsity at Omaha Gross Catholic High School.
  • I love couponing.
