"As with most people, it was a winding road that led me to this point in my life. I’ve always had a connection with Mother Nature, and it goes back to my youth working on the farm, planting the fields, cutting hay, fishing the creeks and hunting the woods of southern Ohio.
"I’m always my happiest when out in nature, and I realized from an early age it’s also a place to find healing. I always knew I wanted to do something with my life that would honor and contribute to the preservation and conservation of natural resources and, by extension, the habitat that’s needed for wildlife and ecosystems to thrive and flourish.
"It was a circuitous path that started in the Marine Corps and led me through several degrees, many technical training certificates, different industries and various roles. But sustainability draws it all together in a way that is impactful and rewarding." #HumansOfUNMC
