Beginning this month a series of two-hour presentations called CARING with CLAS[S] will be presented to look at bridging the cultural and linguistic gaps in health care. The presentations are open to everyone and provide a means of understanding Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards.

Resilience of spirit found in Kabul
KABUL, Afghanistan — Kabul is unlike any place I’ve ever been. The city is overflowing with people who have returned from refugee camps and who are now unafraid to walk the streets. There are many signs that show the number of organizations from all over the world that have come to Kabul to be a part of its rebuilding.
