Campus invited to groundbreaking for $14 million nursing building
On Oct. 22 at 10:30 a.m., the UNMC College of Nursing will host a ceremonial groundbreaking for a building that will expand capacity to accept more nursing students and prepare more nursing faculty. It also will enable the college to expand its research program.

China-U.S. symposium launches new era of collaboration
It has been a historic year for the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The academy, located only a few blocks from the site of the Summer Olympics, partnered with UNMC to launch its First Symposium of the China-U.S. Research Center for Life Sciences on Wednesday.
