UNMC Alumni Associations seek award nominations

Please consider nominating a fellow health care provider, colleague, classmate or friend for any of these alumni associations’ awards. Nominations are due in the UNMC Alumni Office by Friday, April 25 and must include a completed nomination form, two letters of support and if available, a current curriculum vitae for the nominee. Nominations will be accepted in the UNMC Alumni Office via e-mail, mail or fax.

Dr. Weigel: New low vision center to improve lives

In comments the 1958 College of Medicine graduate made Tuesday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for UNMC’s new Weigel Williamson Center for Visual Rehabilitation, Dr. Weigel mentioned a long list of family members who had suffered from vision problems.
