UNMC to propose College of Public Health
UNMC leaders will present their proposal for a UNMC College of Public Health on June 15 to the Academic Affairs Committee of the NU Board of Regents. The regents will not vote on the college’s formation but may do so at a meeting later this year.On Wednesday, Dr. Maurer named Jay Noren, M.D., M.P.H., as the director of UNMC Public Health Programs to provide initial leadership in the formation of the college.
