Thang Nguyen, PhD, used the MakERLab located in the emergency department to collaborate with colleagues to create a medication aerosolizing device that can be used with a plastic soda bottle&period; The device, called Project FreeAir, was developed with funding by the UNMC Eugene Kenney Memorial Fund and is available free to the public&period;
