Two programs of UNMC’s College of Allied Health Professions help rural clinics and hospitals reduce the risk of patient falls. The CAPTURE Falls and CATCH RURAL Falls programs are funded by the state Department of Health and Human Services through the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program.
UNMC residents provide ER/medical coverage on weekends to rural communities.
Simulation in Motion-Nebraska (SIM-NE) seeks to enhance the quality and accessibility of emergency medical education across Nebraska. SIM-NE trained 149 volunteer EMTs and health providers in your district.
