As the start of the fall semester nears and more people return to campus, there are still plenty of options available to faculty, staff and students who need to grab breakfast, lunch or a snack.
“All of the current retail service hours are subject to change as the campus slowly opens up,” said Thomas Hoffman, director of food and nutrition, Sodexo, with Nebraska Medicine.
Discussions are currently underway to determine if outside food vendors will return to campus, Hoffman said.
As of right now, there will not be a food vendor returning to the Maurer Commons space that links the two Durham Research Center towers, he said.
“We are exploring all possibilities with several vendors, including the potential for food trucks, and our hope is to get a better feel for this by mid-September,” Hoffman said.
