Lunch and Learn event to focus on microaggression

A Lunch and Learn event on Nov. 16 will help individuals learn how to recognize, respond and navigate microagressions, both as a subject and witness.

The presentation will take place at noon in the Sorrell Center, Room 3030. Guest speakers will be Laura Corrigan, a data specialist with 20-plus years of experience, and Linda Cunningham, associate director of human resources at UNMC.

The event, open to the campus community, is sponsored by EMPOWER and the Muslim Student Association. Lunch will be provided while supplies last.
