UNMC faculty, staff and students are invited to join Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, Tuesday, Jan. 6, for this month’s all-campus forum, which will feature University of Nebraska President Jeffrey P. Gold, MD.
Drs. Davies and Gold will discuss the special NU Board of Regents meeting on Friday, Jan. 9, to consider a sole-member governance of Nebraska Medicine, the longstanding primary clinical partner of UNMC. (For more information on this proposed transaction, see related stories in today’s UNMC Today).
The forum will be from noon to 12:50 p.m. in the Truhlsen Events Center, located inside the Sorrell Center on the Omaha campus. The forum also will be available via Zoom; a link is available on the campus intranet.
Forum attendees also will hear updates on joint institutional accreditation for UNMC and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the upcoming state legislative session. Questions may be asked during or before the forum. To ask a question in advance, email the UNMC Strategic Communications team. An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
