UNMC Office of Sustainability seeks campus feedback

Neelanjana Gayen, a UNMC PhD student in biochemistry and molecular biology and president of UNMC’s Health Educators and Academic Leaders (HEAL) organization, places a shovel of dirt around a tree she helped plant tree in the green space in front of the Durham Research Center on Wednesday October 15, 2025, with UNMC grounds staff and the LiveGreen Ambassadors organization.

The UNMC Office of Sustainability is inviting all faculty, students and staff to complete a five-question environmental sustainability survey.

The survey takes just a few minutes and asks about the UNMC community’s awareness of and participation in sustainability efforts at the med center.

Responses will help identify opportunities to strengthen programs and measure progress campuswide. Results also will help inform the work of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine’s newly reorganized Executive Sustainability Council.

Click this link to take the survey.

Nebraska Medicine employees may have already seen this survey through a recent micropulse.
