A banquet honoring UNMC service award recipients, retirees and the past year’s Gold ‘U’ recipients will take place tonight (June 5) at the Omaha Marriott Hotel, 10220 Regency Circle.
A social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by group photos at 6:15 p.m. and the dinner and program at 7 p.m. Approximately 350 people will attend the dinner, including the honorees, their guests, and UNMC administrators, managers and other staff.
This year’s 35-year service award recipients include Martha Harmon, Academic Services; Edward Salinas, Facilities Management and Planning-Grounds and Labor; Lawrence Higgins, Facilities Management and Planning-Maintenance; Elaine Ryan, Dean’s Office, College of Medicine; Mary Ann Casey, Family Medicine; Carla Gaul, Internal Medicine-Oncology/Hematology; and Karen Dulany, Eppley Institute-Shared Utilities.
