Did you know your smart phone or computer can help you lose weight and get fit?

With new and changing technology, businesses and groups have created helpful weight-loss, nutrition and fitness tools that are free or inexpensive. But which ones are credible and up to date?

At an April 16 Brown Bag presentation, registered dietitian Sarah Keegan will discuss which tech tool will help you most to achieve your weight, food and exercise goals.

The presentation will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the UNMC Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater. Seating is limited; please preregister by calling the Olson Center at 559-6345. Bring your lunch. Simple refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free. However, if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given when you preregister.

I work at the College of Dentistry in Lincoln and I would like a presentation here or made available me as this would be very valuable information for me also. I am told that I or we are a part of UNMC but many programs that you provide for the Omaha employees are not provided for us just because we a located in Lincoln. Can you please make the programs available to us since we are told that we are a part of the TEAM. Thank you
